“Painting provides an avenue
to explore not only the myths but also realities of the Western Cowboy – the
work, land and animals on which this way-of-life depends.”
I fell in love with the romance
of the ‘Old West.’ My passion for painting is sparked by a growing awareness and
interest in the people whose livelihood depends upon horses and realities of
today’s ‘Modern West’.
Cowboys, rodeo scenes,
portraits, landscape and floral are commonly found in my compositions. My
principle mediums are watercolor, oil and pastel.
I'm intrigued with the
possibilities recently found through collaboration with fellow artisans.
